Nigerian
rapper, M.I Abaga and his record mark, Chocolate City Limited have
documented a body of evidence against American rapper, Nasir Jones,
famously known as Nas for not keeping to his own finish of a deal of
giving a verse to M.I subsequent to being paid by Chocolate City.
The
claim was recorded in New York State Supreme Court a week ago where the
American rapper and his business accomplice, Roonie Goodman were blamed
for ripping off M.I after their understanding.
This
arrangement was made in 2013 where the Nigerian rapper had concurred
with the “exceptionally regarded lyricist” as indicated by the claim
that Nas would contribute a verse to a track M.I needed to work with
(Nas) on. The purpose behind this coordinated effort as indicated by the
claim is “on account of Nas’ uncommon ability as a verse essayist.”
As
indicated by report, this verse was conveyed as settled upon, yet what
did not fill in as concurred is the substance of the verse which did not
contain what the Nigerian rapper had conceded to with Nas. This verse
as per the claim should contain “M.I, Chocolate City, Nigeria, Queens,
New York – Nas’ main residence , Mandela, Trayton Martin, and the
battles of Africans and African Americans”. Chocolate City had asked for
that Nas records the verse yet he never did as concurred in the wake of
gathering a forthright installment of $45,000 and an additional $5,000
given to his accomplice, Goodman who spoke to Nas as a specialist.
With
this cooperation never working out as expected, the Nigerian rapper and
his name, Chocolate City Limited are requesting a discount of the
$50,000 they paid the American rapper in addition to a million dollars
for harms of not having the capacity to make a benefit from an arranged
joint effort that never happened, corrective harms and lawyer charge.
