Real Madrid have put Gareth Bale up for sale. The La Liga side have grown increasingly frustrated with the frequency of the winger’s injuries and are willing to listen to offers for the Manchester United transfer target. Real had concerns over Bale’s fitness last season but rebuffed United’s approach for him. Bale has had 24 injuries since joining the club in June 2013 for a then-world record fee. This summer, they will be willing to offload the former Tottenham favourite to fund the arrival of the next Galactico. (AS)

Juventus, Napoli and Roma have all expressed an interest in Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian. The 27-year-old is out of favour under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford and may be open to a move in January in order to boost his chances of playing in the World Cup, should Italy qualify. Paris Saint-Germain must raise €75m (£66m) by June 30 or face a hefty fine from UEFA over Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations. The club need to balance their books after their heavy spending in the summer, which saw Neymar arrive for £200m and Kylian Mbappe join on loan, with his deal to be made permanent next summer for €145m (£129m). PSG are keen to sell player in January, with Hatem Ben Arfa, Javier Pastore, Lucas Moura and Angel Di Maria all rumoured for a departure from the Parc des Princes.

PSG are interested in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl. Last summer, the Ligue 1 side tried to bolster their midfield by signing one of Fabinho from Monaco, Danilo Pereira of Porto and Nice’s Jean-Michael Seri. However, they may be too expensive now the Parisians are struggling to stay within the parameters of FFP. West Ham midfielder Marko Arnautovic has rejected speculation that he could be sold in January.
