Hoffenheim And Bayern Munich Yet To Agree On Transfer Fee For Sandro Wagner

Sandro Wagner’s move to Bayern Munich is at risk of falling through, according to Kicker.

The Hoffenheim striker was expected to join the Bundesliga champions in January, but Bayern president Uli Hoeness has revealed the deal is far from completion.

“I think that’s going to be a matter of compensation, and I hear we’re miles apart right now,” he said. “The way it looks right now, that’s going to be pretty bad.”

Former Bayern player Wagner is under contract at Hoffenheim, the club he joined from Darmstadt in 2016, until 2020, and it has been reported that he could be allowed to leave for a transfer exceeding €10 million.

Hoeness also hopes he can convince Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes to extend his tenure.
